Bangalore-based AI-powered video telematics startup Cautio has raised ₹11 crore in its ongoing seed funding round.
Cautio plans to channel the capital into strengthening its R&D efforts and scaling its AI technology. The startup’s platform delivers real-time intelligence to fleet operations, aiming to transform road safety across India.
“With AI-driven video telematics, we are changing this narrative. We are giving fleet operators, drivers, and passengers a chance to be safer, more responsible, and more accountable on the road,” said Ankit Acharya, co-founder and CEO of Cautio.
Since its launch, Cautio has enabled over 30 million km of safe travel, safeguarding more than 1.6 million trips. Its tech has proven instrumental in reducing risks, improving driver accountability, and streamlining fleet operations.
Currently, the company powers operations for leading mobility and logistics providers such as Shoffr, Euro Cars, Namma Yatri, IITs, and Cityflo, across 35+ cities in India. To date, its platform has processed over 5 billion location data points through its APIs.
The round saw participation from a strong lineup of investors, including 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, Antler India, Infinyte Club, CARS24 founders Vikram Chopra and Gajendra Jangid, and the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) through PIEDS-BITS Pilani.
Backing the company’s mission, Nitin Sharma, partner at Antler, commented:
“Cautio goes beyond just data collection; it transforms insights into action, improving driver behaviour, enhancing safety, and laying the foundation for autonomous mobility.”
