This marks CG Power’s formal entry into chip design, backed by a $36 million investment. Axiro aims to address key sectors like 5G/6G, defence, satellite communications, and industrial IoT.
Axiro’s new centre is built as an innovation hub, with future-ready infrastructure designed to double its R&D team by 2026. The company aims to power India’s self-reliance in semiconductors with globally competitive solutions.
Already operating at scale, the company ships millions of integrated circuits monthly to global tech giants such as Ericsson, Nokia, Hughes, and Siemens.
Incorporated in December 2024, Axiro’s fabless model focuses on IP creation and chip design, while leveraging global foundries for manufacturing—enabling high performance and scalability.
