Boeing has named Stacie Sire as Vice President and Managing Director of the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC), and Chief Engineer for Boeing India.

She takes over from Ahmed Elsherbini, who held the role from April 2021 until January 2025 and now serves as SVP and GM of Boeing Global Engineering.

Based in Bengaluru, Sire will oversee BIETC’s strategy and operations, focusing on expanding its capabilities to support Boeing’s growing presence in India. As Chief Engineer, she’ll also lead technical excellence and engineering leadership across the company’s India operations.

With 27 years at Boeing, Sire began as a structural engineer and has held various leadership roles across programmes, including the 787, 767/777, propulsion systems, and production engineering.

Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Engineering for Fabrication, managing a global team supporting 20 manufacturing units.

“Boeing’s growth in India as a leader in aerospace and defence is inspiring,” Sire said. “I’m excited to work with the talented team here to further that progress.”
