JetSynthesys, a leader in digital gaming and entertainment, has announced Season 2 of the Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL), India’s biggest and most premium e-cricket league.

Powered by the popular Real Cricket™ game, Season 2 will take place from April 27 to May 2 in Bengaluru, featuring 34 matches and a prize pool of ₹3.05 crore, up from ₹2.51 crore last season.

The tournament kicks off with 4 matches on April 27, followed by 7 on April 28, 8 on April 29, 7 on April 30, 4 on May 1, and ends with 4 thrilling finale matches and a special performance on May 2.

Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO of JetSynthesys, said GEPL Season 2 is redefining how cricket is experienced digitally, calling it a major step forward for Indian esports. Rohit Potphode, CEO and League Commissioner of GEPL, highlighted the league’s aim to build a strong future for competitive gaming in India.

Played on Real Cricket™, which has over 350 million downloads, GEPL combines team-based esports with cricket’s excitement. The season began with a high-stakes player auction on April 3, where teams used a ₹10 lakh purse to bid on top players. Jagdish Kumar emerged as the highest bid at ₹2.9 lakh. A total of ₹56.65 lakh was spent across all franchises.

Franchise owners include Peyush Bansal, Nikhil Kamath, Ankit Nagori, Prashanth Prakash, Gopal Srinivasan, Madhusudanan R, Arjun Santhanakrishnan, and Sara Tendulkar.

With a fivefold increase in registrations and over 70 million reach last season, GEPL Season 2 is set to take cricket gaming to new heights.
